In September 2020, the young talents of the Rostropovich Charity and Support Foundation "Aid to Lithuanian Children" will take part in the Christopher Christopher Festival's Kazickas Family Sacred Music Hours concert series. This series is organised in cooperation with The Kazickas Family Foundation.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mrs Aleksandra Kazickė. All the towns in which the concerts in this series will take place are directly linked to episodes of her life.
The Kazickas Family Foundation currently focuses on education and social projects, as well as supporting cultural, health, religious and charitable organisations.
You will be able to hear the scholarship holders of the M. Rostropovičius Charity and Support Fund "Help for Lithuanian Children" at the following concerts:
- 3 September, 7 pm. Šaukėnai House of Culture (Šiauliai region): R. Juknevičiūtė (cello), M. L. Lizzi (accordion);
- 13 September at 13:00 Pumpėnai Church, Pumpėnai: R. Juknevičiūtė (cello), Ugne Katinskaitė (violin), Pijus Paškevičius (oboe);
- 18 September, 7 pm. Pasvalys Church, Pasvalys: Liepa Jurgutavičiūtė (violin), Amelia Lapinskaitė (clarinet);
- 26 September, 6 pm. Kamajai Church, Kamajai: Justas Drakšas (trumpet), Liepa Jurgutavičiūtė (violin);
